The Alexander H. Bright Hockey Center at Harvard University has been home to the Harvard Crimson hockey team since 1979.  With seating for 2,850 when in its full configuration, it is an intimate setting for figure skating with excellent seating throughout. Click here to view the seating chart.

Driving Directions

From the West: Take I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike east to Exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge). After paying toll, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approximately one mile. Bright Hockey Center will be on your left.

From the North: South on I-93 to Storrow Drive exit. Take Storrow Drive west for approximately five miles. Exit at Harvard Square/North Harvard Street. At top of exit, turn left onto North Harvard Street . Approximately 1/4 mile on your right will be the entrance for Bright Hockey Center.

From the South: North on I-95 to I-93 North. Follow I-93 to I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike exit 20. West on I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike to exit 20 (Allston/Cambridge). After toll booths, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approx. one mile. Bright Hockey Center will be on your left.

Alternative From the Southwest/Northwest: Take Rt-128/I-95 to I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike. East on I-90/Massachusetts Turnpike to exit 18 (Allston/Cambridge). After toll booths, bear left at fork towards Allston. Turn right at second set of lights onto North Harvard Street. Proceed approx. one mile. Bright Hockey Center will be on your right.

Public Transportation

The Red Line subway stops at Harvard Square. The Bright Hockey Center is a 10-minute walk from Harvard Square.  Proceed down JFK St. towards the Charles River.  Cross over the Charles River and continue up N. Beacon Street.  Bright Arena is on the right, in the same athletic compound as the Harvard Stadium.

Several bus routes make stops at Harvard Square as well. The 66 and 86 routes include stops at Bright Arena.
