The Creative Team
Timothy LeBlanc – Show Director
Timothy LeBlanc is a Show Director and Choreographer with experience in both live stage shows and ice shows. He is a former Professional Figure Skater with Disney on Ice and Dancer for Walt Disney Entertainment. He currently works for The Walt Disney Company, involved in many productions across the Walt Disney World Resort, and shares his experience in show development and production through his visionary and technical talent in bringing a story to life. Timothy co-directed Ice Chips in 2010 and 2011, and returns to the show as Show Director for 2012’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.
Jason Wong – Head Choreographer
Jason Wong brings his eye for creativity and design to his role as Head Choreographer for this year’s production. He is a ten-time U.S. National Competitor, two-time U.S. National Silver Medalist, two-time U.S. National Collegiate Champion, and five-time Team USA Member. Jason serves on the U.S. Figure Skating Athletes Advisory Committee and is a PSA Rated Coach at the Regional, Sectional and National levels.
Linda Blount – Choreographer
Linda Blount is a PSA Master-Rated Coach with over 30 years of experience coaching Regional, Sectional and National competitors. She is the Director of The Skating School of Boston, Co-Chair of The Skating Club of Boston’s Off-Ice Program, Chair of the Ice Committee, and Co-Chair of The Skating Club of Boston’s annual Basic Skills competition.
Marissa Castelli – Choreographer
Marissa Castelli is a National and International Pair Skater with partner Simon Shnapir. Together they are the 2009 World Junior Pairs Bronze Medalists, 2010 Four Continents Pairs competitors and 2011 U.S. National Pairs competitors. We are pleased to welcome Marissa to the 2012 Creative Team, as she brings her flair for creativity to her role as Choreographer.
Tom Lescinski – Assistant Choreographer
Tom Lescinski is a PSA Master-Rated Coach with over 41 years of experience coaching National and International medalists and competitors. He was nominated U.S. Figure Skating Developmental Coach of the Year, and is the Director of The Skating Club of Boston’s Act I of Boston Senior Theatre on Ice team.
Merita Mullen – Assistant Choreographer
Merita Mullen is the founding Director and Head Coach for Team Excel Synchronized Skating Teams. Merita has over 30 years of experience developing competitive teams at all levels. She has coached National and International medal-winning teams, and World Challenge Cup competitors.
Jessica Dupuis – Assistant Choroegrapher
Jessica Dupuis, who has been coaching since 2004, has taken her skaters through the Senior level and has coached at the Regional and National levels. She spent over seven years as a Professional Show Skater and was featured in a reality skating show hosted by Kristi Yamaguchi.
Christie Allan-Piper – Assistant Choreographer
Christie Allan-Piper is a visual artist exploring the motion and emotion of the figure on ice, film and paper. She is a published writer and illustrator who has earned U.S. Figure Skating distinction in Figures, Free Skating and Dance. She joins us as Assistant to the Director and Choreographers focusing on artistry development.
